Study in United states is not free. United states is one of the most expensive countries for education. The price of education depends on the educational institution and the city or state. Students legally can bring their family with them to the United States for education. Their spouse and children can come with them to United States if student have M-J-F visas. With this type of visa children can attend at schools and kindergarten. Unfortunately, unless you have a J-1 Visa, your spouse cannot apply to work in the U.S. legally, so make sure you consider that before attending school. However, F-1 students are eligible to work themselves on campus and can also apply to work on or off campus for up to 12 months in a position that is directly related to their program of study. A spouse can attend school part-time, but must obtain an I-539 Form and gain his or her own F-1 or M-1 status in order to study full-time. The problem for education in United States right now is for some countries (like Iran) there are restrictions for visa process. Only F-J visas are available for Iranians and in the recent years’ students have problems with bringing their families with them to United States.
